Oh my god, it's been a month already! And tomorrow I leave on my first travel adventure while abroad (I mean, I guess it's an adventure within an adventure, since this whole experience is an adventure...). Tomorrow morning I'm leaving early (6 am ugh) for Paris! And spending two days there, staying with one of my friends from BC. Then on Wednesday, I'm leaving for Madrid, Spain for 4 days! I am SO excited to go somewhere warm and sunny (hopefully)! So, don't expect any updates between now and then - I won't have my comp.
Anyways, backing up a few days... there actually isn't much to tell. I just can't believe I've already been here a month! It doesn't feel that long. I've some incredible highs and some amazingly fun times and I've met some great people. At the same time, I've had a few rather pathetic nights where I just want to go home and turn on the rice cooker and eat peanut butter out the jar. It's been a rollercoaster I guess. I wonder how I'll feel in another month... I'm not sure.
Well, I should get back to getting ready to go (printing city maps, metro maps, confirmation emails, packing, snacking on bread and cheese and wine, etc.) so, I may add to this post later tonight if I get everything done in a timely fashion (aka, don't count on another post). So, if I don't talk to you later today, I hope you have a wonderful week and expect some pictures when I get back!
